Scope of Service 

The Therapist will provide assessment, therapy, reports, and/or liaison as agreed. 

The Therapist will work within HCPC standards and clinical best practice. 

Any changes will be discussed and agreed in writing. 

Fees & Payment 

25% deposit to be paid to confirm booking.

Invoice payment due within 5 days via BACS unless otherwise agreed. 

Clients remain responsible for payment even when using private insurance. 

Cancellation Policy 

Cancellations with fewer than 48 hours’ notice may be charged in full. 

Missed appointments are charged in full. 

The Therapist will give notice of cancellations wherever possible. 

Consent & Information Sharing 

The Client provides consent for assessment and/or therapy.  

Information may be shared with relevant professionals with written consent. 

Safeguarding exceptions apply when necessary to protect a child or adult at risk. A separate safeguarding policy is available and provides full details.

Data Protection (GDPR) 

The Therapist collects only necessary information. 

Records are stored securely and retained according to professional guidelines. I am Information Commissioner's Office registered and adhere to their guidelines for data protection.

Clients may request access or corrections to their data.

Communication 

Email, phone, or video may be used. 

Email is not guaranteed fully secure; clients accept this risk when using it. 

Session recordings are not permitted without written agreement. 

Teletherapy 

Delivered via secure platforms. 

A responsible adult must be present for children’s sessions. 

Clients ensure access to appropriate devices and internet. Students From time to time, student SLTs or newly qualified therapists may observe sessions as part of professional training. I will always request your explicit verbal consent before any observation. You may decline at any point. 

Complaints 

Raise concerns with the Therapist first. 

If unresolved, the Client may contact the HCPC.
